Hi, I’ve been having trouble with the RB-530 response pad drivers, I have a c# program and when I open the USB port with the response pad in I get an access denied error message and it won’t let me use it, I tried superLab but it can’t detect the pad
Windows is supposed to locate the driver automatically but sometimes fails to do so. You can get the latest version of the driver from this page:
http://www.ftdichip.com/Drivers/VCP.htm
The easiest way is to download “setup executable” in the Comments column.
Note: sometimes Windows will give you an alert saying that installing the driver “requires elevation”. What this means is that you don’t have sufficient privileges to install the driver and someone else with more account privileges must login and install the driver.
