Older Lumina 3G and Current 2.5 mm Light Sensor Compatibility

Hi everyone,

I have an older Lumina 3G controller, not ehe current 3g+ model, and I’m trying to have it work with a current Cedrus 2.5 mm mono light sensor (Cedrus Black Light Sensor).

The Liumina recognizes the light-sensor input and I can change the threshold from 0-100, but actual white;/black screen transitions produce no events at any threshold. Interetingly, physically moving the sensor plug in the jack does generate repeated Lighjt Sensor ON/OFF events. Does anyone know wether older Lumina 3G hardware revisiones used a different light-sensor connector wiring/pinout, or required a different sensor than the current 2.5 mm mono version??

Thanks!

Juan

P.S. I have been using every tool to find the diagnosis on this problem but it is bizarre that Xidon2 detects a partially plugged in jack and also when I set the sensisitivy it always opens up on 50 percent even though I have set it to higher sensitivity. I have tested it also through a direct harfdware interrogation of the Lumina 3G via the Cedrus XID protocol using pyxid2. But no events were recorded at an automated threshold increase.

Please help.
