Our E-Prime program works perfectly with the button box on one computer-- the computer that was used when building the program. When we transfer the program to any other computer, the button boxes don’t work. (The program works perfectly with the keyboard on all computers).
Does anyone have any suggestions on how to fix this? The button box is connected to the Com1 port, specified in the code. The box is a Lumina LSC-400.
The following are fixes we’ve already tried:
-adjusting the program so that it is usable by “everyone” within E-Prime
-matching the name of the Serial port on the computer to the one E-Prime is calling on
