Hey all,
I’m a third-year Psychology student, very new to Superlab but trying my best to set up an experiment on here.
I went through the manual and played with the basics setting up rules to add and take away from a counter, with certain responses to stimuli. However, in addition to some basic rules (e.g. every time I press ‘x’ give ‘100’ on the counter) I also have a few more complicated patterns I would like to set up.
There will be four buttons involved in the experiment and each button pressed will have a specific schedule of plusing and minusing on the counter. E.g.:
Button 1: +100, -400, +30, -50, +20
Button 2: +5, -500, -30, +60, -10
Button 3: +60, -45, +10, +300, -5
Button 4: +90, +5, -350, +60, -80
So imagine the person presses 1, 2, 1, 4, 2. I would like the counter to +/- in the order +100, +5, -400, +90, -500 in accordance to these schedules.
Hope that makes sense! If anybody has any advice on how to do this, I would really appreciate it.
