Presenting text line by line

Hi –

I have a basic working knowledge of Super Lab. I’m interesting in presenting a series of 16 passages line-by-line on a computer screen. Participants proceed through each line of the passage by pressing an input key (e.g., spacebar). Can I create a stimulus list for each passage that will present the text lines?

In addition, I need to record the reading time for targeted lines of each passage.

You can utilize stimulus lists to achieve your task but I suggest that you use the convenient RSVP events. Take a look at the experiment that I’ve attached. The reaction times for the lines will be automatically logged into the resulting data file.
