Cedrus is pleased to introduce the fifth generation of our popular response pads, the new RB-x40 models. There are two main new features added:
Keyboard Mode
The previous models have always strived to be compatible with a wide range of experimental software such as SuperLab, E-Prime, and Presentation. The new keyboard mode goes further, letting you use an RB-x40 response pad with any software that can accept input from the keyboard.
Light Sensor Support
Using an optional light sensor, an RB-x40 can detect the onset of a visual stimulus on the screen and reset the built-in RT timer. (An update to SuperLab 5 this summer will add support for this feature).
The new generation models maintain the same key layouts. They will be available on April 25.
