Keyboard mapping for Riponda S model

I’m trying to use the Riponda S model with Inquisit ver 5. It used to be compatible with RB series, but with the new Riponda model, xid configuration is no longer working.

So, as an alternative approach, I tried to configure the Riponda to keyboard mode. I switched the ‘1’ button down, and reset, but when I press all 5 buttons, they are not input as a typical keyboard input. All buttons are mapped to “ENTER” within the Inquisit; and if I press all 5 butons within “Notepad” text file, it is written as:

a p 3 19925
a r 3 20042
a p 4 21119
a r 4 21204
a p 1 22176
a r 1 22321
a p 2 24393
a r 2 24477
a p 5 30779
a r 5 30860

I upgraded the firmware to 2.2.9 (says it fixes key maping on Riponda Model S) but that didn’t do anything.

Regarding keyboard mode, please see this support note.

It looks like you have your Riponda using the XID protocol, which sends a lot of information followed by a carriage return (Enter). Any of the other three protocols will send only one byte.
