Issue with Consecutive Triggers in E-Prime 3 Using c-pod

Hi everyone,

I’m programming an EEG experiment in E-Prime 3 and using c-pod to connect the E-Prime computer with the EEG recording system.

While c-pod works well overall, I’m encountering issues when sending closely spaced triggers. Specifically, my study requires two consecutive markers: one linked to a participant’s response and another associated with a sound that follows 100–300 milliseconds later. Upon checking the markers, the first one is correct, but the second one is incorrect (e.g., 7 instead of 55 or 100).

I’m wondering if this issue could be due to:

  1. A timing constraint—perhaps the interval between the two markers is too short.
  2. A limitation with specific marker values (e.g., 55 or 100) that might exceed the range allowed by the transmitting device.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue? Any insights or troubleshooting suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks in advance!
Giorgia
