Hello-

I am having a problem completing the set-up of the Explicit Affective Simon Task (EAST) on SuperLab 4.0 for Mac. The task involves presenting participants with a series of words in 2 practice blocks and 4 test blocks, and they must respond on the keyboard.

I am having a problem ensuring that all of the events play during each practice and test block. Thus far, all of the blocks will play some of the correct events, but never all of the events specified.

I have a different number of events in the practice vs. test blocks. Also, the events in each trial are randomized. Could either of these factors be causing the problem?

Hi Emma,

I looked at the experiment that you emailed me. In trial “Ease b”, one of the instruction events is inadvertently linked, but the trials are all being presented otherwise.
