Duplicate entries in preferences file

I just installed Superlab 4.0.5 and every time I launch the program, i get a message that reads:

“Superlab found duplicate entries in your preferences file. What would you like to do?”

It then gives me the option of deleting the duplicate entries or moving the preferences file.

What does this dialogue box mean? How do I respond so as to NOT jeopordize any of my programs?

The preferences file only stores things like window positions. Go ahead and delete it, it will not affect any of your experiments.
