This probably a silly question with an obvious answer, but for the life of me I can’t seem to figure it out - how do you randomize across blocks? Cedrus data viewer doesn’t let you sort by trial types, and our preference is to find a simpler solution than just resorting to manual sorting through Excel.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
In SuperLab you cannot randomize across blocks, only trials and events.
You can sort by any column in data viewer. One potential pitfall is that you can only sort by one column, you can’t sort by error code, and then have everything with the same error code be “subsorted” by reaction time.
What is a “trial type”? Do you mean “trial name”? Because you can sort by trial name. Can you please give examples of what are three or four different trial types? Also, which tab of data viewer are you using? Are you working with the “Raw Data” tab or the “Summary Stats” tab?
