Hi,

I have an experiment that requires a keyboard-string input response, but only for certain events. I would like to get rid of the frame that appears on the screen to type in the response for all those events that do not require it. Is there any way I can do it?

Hello,

Yes, SuperLab is able to to this. Under Participant Input, when you select Keyboard-String Input, there is an Options tab on the right. Under Show Strings Input’s Edit Field, you need to select Only if an event designates a string input response as correct.

If you are using single key response the same thing needs to be done.
