Multiple list randomization

Hello!

We would like to pair two lists in a trial but have one list randomize and the other not. That is to say, in our experiment, we have audio files A, B and C in a list. We also have a list of text: “Voice 1”, “Voice 2”, “Voice 3”. For each participant, we would like audio files to be randomly presented (e.g., B, A, C), but would like the text titles to remain in order (1, 2, 3). The words (“Voice 1”) are appearing at the same time as the audio files so they need to be in the same event.

Is this possible?

Under the trial that is linked to your two stimulus lists, you would use the Unpaired option under the List Access tab. Your first stimulus list will stay in the same order as you created, while the second list is randomized.
