I am wondering if it is possible to show a picture file for a specfic amount of time without ending the actual event. Ideally, I would like to show my picture for 1000 msec and make it disappear without ending the actual trial, since I still want to record my participants input. I was able to do this with an audio file, since the file itself was only a specific duration (eg 1ooo msec).
I would really appreciate any helpful input on this matter-

Set the time limit for your picture event under the input tab. Then, make another event within the same trial, try a blank text event. In this event under the settings tab, make sure “Erase screen before presenting stimulus” is checked on.
