Mouse Tracking

I am attempting to do a divided attention task which would involve mouse tracking with an auditory tone. I was wondering if there was anyway to have Super Lab take a constant record of exactly where the mouse cursor was and record this as either correct or incorrect.

Thanks in advance.

If you click on the Experiment menu and then Participant Input, there is a Mouse or Touch Screen input option. If you select it, you can then define areas of the screen and SuperLab will detect mouse clicks on those areas.

Are you wanting to have the mouse follow a particular path?

Hisham.

How about just mouse presence?

SuperLab cannot detect the “hovering” of a mouse over an area.

Is it possible to record the displacement of the mouse regardless pass througth the selected area??? I am interested in a tracking path experiment…

Unfortunately this is not a capability within SuperLab.
