coding events vs coding trials

HI-

Under events, the dialog box has a tab for code values–when I enter that, it tells me I do not have any codes entered. Yet, I do have codes entered…and have been using them with TRIALS…but though I could also code my events, but this doesn’t seem to be the case…what am I doing wrong? The codes show up when I hit the button for codes under events…but it doesn’t seem to be changing anything, or storing them.

How can I use coding in EVENTS?

Code values are handled differently between trials and events–they are separate. If your code values were created for use with trials, they will not be available for events and vice-versa. You can code events–just not with codes created for trials.
