I want to use a mouse for participant response. However, the experiment would require that the cursor return to the centre (0,0) of the screen at the start of each trial. Is it possible to do this in Superlab?
No, there is no way in SuperLab to change the position of the mouse cursor. Perhaps displaying a cue (e.g. cross-hairs) at the beginning of the trial and asking the participant to move the mouse cursor there might work.
