Preschool participants

Hi Folks,

We are in the pilot stage of creating a reaction time study for preschool children using SuperLab to present stimuli and record responses. Can anyone advise re: limitations for creating the experiment, e.g., number of possible response options preschool children can manage, time to display stimuli, reasonable testing session time period. I have seen an IAT for elementary school children, therefore, I am thinking that this might serve as a proxy for estimating what preschool children could manage.

Thank you,
Kathy

Hi Kathy,

Good to hear from you. Being an engineer, I cannot advise on the psychology aspects of the experiment. Other forum members might hopefully help, but I suggest that the questions be a more specific.

Let me know if you have any questions related to using the software itself.

Hisham.
