editing SuperLab in Excel

I’m using SuperLab 4 (Mac version) and it won’t let me save my experiment as a .script so that i can open and edit it using Excel. Am I missing something?

SuperLab 4 experiment files are in a binary format and can’t be edited in a text editor (Excel or otherwise).

OK, thanks!

If you’re up for a challenge, Greg Shenaut created a command-line utility called “sl4util” that interprets some of the internal information. He posted it on here a few weeks ago.

thanks - maybe some other time :)! good to know though.

This is kind of a bummer. That feature (using excel to edit experiments) was very cool and time saving…
