movie stop and start

Hi all…

Quick question. Is there a way to program SuperLab so that participants can control when a movie stops and starts? I’d ideally like participants to be able to stop the movie whenever they want (to write down a response) and then be able to click to continue the movie when they are finished writing. And maybe have this happen multiple times during the trial (e.g., anytime they see a particular event displayed in the movie).

Any way to easily do this in SuperLab? Can participants have this kind of control in stimulus trials?

Any help would be appreciated…S :o

Unfortunately this is not a capability of SuperLab. You can try pressing the escape key when the participant wants to stop. However, SuperLab will not start exactly where it left off, it will start the trial over.
