Likert scale coding touch screen, Posted February 7th, 2014 #1
I am putting together a likert scale using the mouse/touch screen input option. Does anybody have an opinion about the most efficient method?

Using the "Text" event type, I can specify regions of the screen as correct responses. But I do not know if I can code the response regions or not?

Alternatively, I can use the "Picture File" event type and use images as the likert scale selections then code each image (though that is a bit cumbersome).

Another problem I have faced is the issue of counterbalancing the likert presentations. Can a item list be used in this case to generate touch screen (or mouse clicked) regions that can also be variably coded depending on the counterbalance?

Thank you all for your help.

Have you defined any responses under Participant Input that would match where the likert scale options show up?
